Khaosan road is within a 15-minute walk. It is about 20-30 minutes by car to many major shopping complexes (bang lampoo, mbk, siam center, discovery center, chinatown and the old siam). To be adventurous, single can on board the boat at phan fa pier, about 1-2 minutes? Walk from the hotel, and off board at pratunam pier, walk about 10-15 minutes, then take the sky train near central world plaza or mbk to chatuchak (about a 15 minute trip), or transfer to boat and off board at asoke pier and walk about 15 metres to the underground train to sirikit convention center or even go to ratchdapisek area.
